Local Snorkeling

This daily snorkel tour will take you to visit the local reefs of Xpu Ha. Accompanied by one of our multilingual guides a short swim from the beach will take us to the shallow, colorful Caribbean reef. Among the sponge corals, fans and other formations we can enjoy marine life such as turtles, barracuda, moray eels and many other Caribbean reef fish.

Included in the 1 hour tour comes the mask, snorkel and fins, wetsuit and life vest.

Cenote Snorkeling:

In this unique, half-day snorkeling trip we will take you to explore the magical realm of the Cenotes.

Unlike any other snorkeling tour, accompanied by our multilingual guides we will explore underground caverns whilst enjoying curtains of light filtered through the dense Mayan jungle above, stalactites, stalagmites and amazing rock formations.

Included in the tour comes the mask, fins and snorkel, wetsuit and life vest.

Whale Shark Snorkeling

Once a year, from June through September, the currents of the Gulf and Mexican Caribbean come together to form the plankton-rich waters which attract the largest concentration of Whale sharks in the world.

On this full day snorkeling trip we will take you snorkeling alongside these friendly giants and introduce you to many other species like the Manta-Ray, Dolphins and Turtles.

After and early morning pick-up we will make our way to the northern-most point of the peninsula called Chiquila. Here, we depart to the beautiful island of Holbox on our fast, comfortable boats., Upon arrival we will enjoy a continental breakfast and an extensive briefing of the day by our multilingual guides.

Our adventure starts with a boat ride to the whale shark area during which we can see dolphins, huge manta rays, turtles and after a short search upon arrival we will encounter the first of many whale sharks.

Our guide will accompany only two snorkelers at a time to maximize fun and minimize stress to the animals abiding by local laws.. After having enjoyed these animals to hearts content we will return to the island, passing by areas of flamingoes and many other species of birds. Back on the Island of Holbox you will enjoy a buffet lunch and have time to explore the beautiful beaches before returning to you hotel in the late afternoon.
