Fabio Gaiotti

Operations Director

Fabio was born in Italy. He is a diver since 1984, has more than 4000 logged dives and since 1996 is an IDC Staff PADI instructor.

Graduated from the University of Genova in 2005 with a degree in Environmental Sciences, Management and Preservation of the Marine World, he developed a great interest in these matters.

For two years, he worked as a marine scientist researcher for the University of Genova in the Mediterranean Sea. It is then when he discovers his fondness for Underwater Photography.

For years he dives in Italy, France and the Red Sea. In 1996, he starts working in the Caribbean Sea, in Santo Domingo and the Bahamas.

In Santo Domingo he participates in a scientific expedition of the University of Indiana (USA), for the search and recovery of the Tainos civilization in caves of an area known as “Parque del Este”.

In 2007 he moves to Playa del Carmen, Mexico, where he actually lives.

Fabio speaks Italian, French, English and Spanish.
