Susana Diaz
Accounting and Administration Director
Graduated from the University of Santiago de Compostela 2003 with a degree in Marine Biology. She has worked as a biologist on different projects, companies and foundations all of them in contact with nature and environment.
She worked for a while with an Organization called SEO (Sociedad Española de Ornitologia), censing marine birds and its populations. Through this organization, she participated on an International Camp that took part in Marais du Séné, in the reservoir of the Gulf of Morbihan, in France, where an observatory was build in memory of this camp.
She also worked for the foundation Nature and Man, working on research and in the Center of Nature Interpretation, where talks and guided visits were held.
Susana also worked for FEMA on a Summer Camp Program in Marisma Reserve of Santoña, about environments Knowledge, gardening, clean energies, recycling and preservation. This program was done in collaboration with regional institutions and supported by Ambassadors of the Environment, society related to the Ocean Futures Society, directed by Jean-Michel Cousteau, son of the famous marine explorer Jacques Cousteau.
After the Summer Camps came to an end, she was contacted by a company called TURYECO (Tourism and Ecology), who contracted her for the creation of a variety of summer programs with environmental content, and as sport activities coordinator.
Finishing the university studies, Susana started to dive and this hobby became a passion. She became an Open Water Scuba Instructor and Cave Diver.
Since then, she has taught swimming and diving, for children and adults, during summer season in Spain.
After some dive trips and many dives, in 2007 she decided to move to Playa del Carmen, Mexico where she fully dedicates to this activity.
